About me

I’m Mandeep Singh AKA Deth Reaper, a mechanical engineer and pen plotter artist based in India. I came to know about crypto back in 2021 while I was studying online so I made an account on Binance for futures trading. While trading I heard about NFTs on Rarible but gas fees turned me off to mint anything(wanted to mint memes) then I learned about Tezos chain and was curious to mint something unique. I got into the discord of disco diffusion and started using my heavy GPU PC to make AI art. After filling the whole hard drive of abstract art I curated my first 31 artworks to mint on Tezos as gas was non-existent there and those artworks are behind the reason why I chose the name Deth Reaper.

I wanted to do something unique and then I came across the profile of Zancan who was using robots to plot his artworks. Mind was blown because I was using the same machines but in giant size to make mechanical parts in the day time. Then I got the pen plotter and learned to code as per my need, started making pen plots that come with the NFT.

I have always loved the control over my artworks so as soon as I knew about Manifold I have been using it for my smart contracts which makes me less afraid of what will be the condition of the marketplace. Recently I learned and leaned more towards Fully On-Chain artworks which even cut the ipfs/arweave for pulling the image and it suits perfectly with my idea of plotting the respective artworks. Artwork forever on the blockchain and Plots forever in the gallery of collectors.
